“I was really excited that I went ahead to play Hobart because I was really rusty, and I can see the rust shedding from my game literally.”

    Typo in the header needs correcting! I thought this quote was a good example of how people use the word “literally” without even thinking about it, as part of their everyday vocabulary.

    I love your site. Only a few weeks ago, I started keeping a Notepad file open to record misuses of the word “literally.”– after an example concerning “the world being literally covered in again,” I haven’t found any more. I’ll pass them on when I do find them.
