literally a doll house

This ad is from a real estate magazine in Augusta, Georgia. It announces, “This Heath Street cottage is a literal doll house.” Maybe it’s just me, but I think $60k is a little steep for a doll house. Star-bellied Sneetches, indeed.

Maybe there are some gigantic dolls inside.

Star-bellied Sneetches? What in the world does Dr. Seuss have to do with this “literal” doll house??

    Kim,

The ad says, “You CAN live on the Hill amid the star-bellied Sneetches…” The Hill is an affluent area of Augusta, where a lot of people would like to live but few can actually afford.

What’s with the paint job? It’s like they started and couldn’t be bothered to finished.

Hey, I just read a funny old story about a doll house that valuable, Sidney Carroll’s “None Before Me.” The owner becomes obsessed with playing God and then gets smacked down by his own God. Literally!
